Stokedale Smokey - (Douglas)

15th June 1991 - 26th March 2001

 

Douglas was our first quality show dog and was placed in almost all shows attended.

 

Douglas attended many shows as a puppy and  we were so proud when he was given reserve in his Graduate class at Crufts in 1994.

 

Douglas was such a wonderful dog with an amazing temperament and all who met him wanted to take him home.

 

Douglas passed away on the 26th March 2001, he died in Adrian arms on the way to the vets suffering heart failure at the age 10 years.

 

This little boy was irreplaceable and not a day goes by when he does not come into our thoughts, Skye reminds us so much of him, and when looking at the pedigrees we found Stokedale Sea Shadow at Wicani, litter sister to Douglas who is on Skyes 4th generation.
